Are You Really Charging Enough?

The 4 Things Every Solo Cleaner Needs to Know Before Deciding

paying you right.

Most solo cleaners are underpaid for one reason

their pricing and

structure are wrong.

It's not the clients.
It's not the market.

It's your setup.

If you’re booked, working hard,

and still not making what you should…

you already know something isn’t adding up.

This is where you fix:

. guessing what to charge

. pricing by time

. numbers that don’t hold up

You don’t have a

work problem.

You have a setup problem.

Because right now you’re:

🚫 keeping prices “reasonable”

🚫 doing extra without charging for it

🚫 hoping it balances out

It doesn’t.

That’s why the work keeps going up.
The pricing never catches up.

You already know this is happening.

You’re halfway through a job…
and you already know you didn’t charge enough.

You don’t need to double-check.

You knew halfway through.

I’m Trisha.

I ran my solo cleaning business for 30 years.

I worked part-time and made more than a full-time income.

Not by working harder.

By fixing my pricing and structuring the work the right way.

This isn’t theory.

This is how I built my business.

If your pricing isn’t working, guessing isn’t going to fix it.

You need a better way to price the job.

The First-Time Clean System

Because better pricing alone won’t fix it.

If your first clean isn’t set up right…

you’ll still end up doing too much no matter what you charge.

This is where most cleaners lose

the money.

Build a Cleaning Business That Pays You Better Without Just Adding More Clients and More Hours

Whether you're brand new and trying to build your cleaning business the right way from the beginning, or you've been cleaning for a while and you're wondering why you're working so hard without making what you thought you would, there's something I want you to understand:

More clients and more cleaning aren't always the answer.

When I first started my cleaning business, I thought making more money meant I needed more clients.

More houses = more money.

It sounds logical.

But there's a problem with that when you're running your cleaning business solo:

Eventually, you run out of hours.

I didn't want to spend my entire life cleaning. And I didn't want employees or a big cleaning company.

I wanted to stay solo, make good money and still have a life outside of my business.

And that's exactly what I built.

I worked part-time and made a full-time income (Or more).

But I didn't get there by trying to clean as many houses as humanly possible.

I got there by learning how to make the business more profitable.

Being Busy and Being Profitable Aren't the Same Thing

If you've already been cleaning for a while, you may have experienced this yourself.

Your schedule can be full. You can be cleaning every day. Money can be coming in.

And yet you still find yourself wondering:

Why am I working this hard without making more money?

And if you're brand new, this is something I want you to understand before you fill your schedule.

Because getting booked isn't the only goal.

What you're getting booked with matters.

When you're solo, every spot on your schedule is valuable. You only have so many of them.

That's why I eventually stopped focusing on simply getting more clients and became much more intentional about the business I was building.

I became more selective about the clients I took. I simplified what I offered. And I focused on building relationships with good recurring clients I actually wanted to keep.

Some of those clients stayed with me for 10, 15 and even 20 years.

That's a very different business from constantly trying to find the next cleaning job.

You Don't Have to Wait Until You're Fully Booked to Think About Profit

This is especially important if you're new.

Don't make the mistake of thinking:

First I'll get the clients. Then I'll worry about making the business profitable.

Profitability starts with how you build the business from the beginning.

And if you've already been cleaning for years? You don't have to tear everything down and start over either.

Sometimes it's about looking at what you already have and asking:

Could this business work better for me?

That's the question I wish more solo cleaners would ask.

Because when you want to make more money, the answer doesn't always have to be another house, another client or another day of cleaning.

Sometimes the answer is building a better business around the work you're already doing.
